Is that Malted Barley in the dish or is that regular barley. The birds don't look too hungry.

Yes Mike that is Malted Barley in the dish the birds ate most of the smaller seeds in the mix .

Thanks for the reply. I know the birds will pick out the more favorite seeds, but not sure why you would feed the birds a mix with both. In trying to bring "down" the condition of the birds, it's best to give them just the barley, then the small seeds after they have eaten the barley. Smaller seeds can be used to give a boost or bring "up" the condition of the birds.

Mike., I feed my flying birds depurative which consists of 50 % barley I have trained on barely before but it was years ago. I know what you are saying about keeping the birds on a low condition with barley only .
